New Photopro.co website

Our new website was built with two objectives in mind. First and foremost we wanted to make it all about the photography, so we've adopted a full screen, easy to navigate platform with front-page links to services and previous clients. Additionally we wanted to make sure you could access it on any computer, tablet or mobile. Sadly the Commodore 64 is not compatible. One for the kids!

Papa Johns PR Photographs at Eastbourne RNLI

Papa Johns pizza delivery celebrated the opening of it's 200th store in Glasgow last week. To commemorate the occasion they gave out free Pizza throughout the UK to deserving charities / services. We were commissioned by HT PR to create PR photographs of Eastbourne RNLI members accepting no less than 20 Pizzas. Needless to say I helped them out by eating a few pieces.     

Imli Restaurant Internet Video For British Curry Awards

I was commissioned by Imli Restaurant in Eastbourne to produce a promotional internet video for the upcoming Curry Awards. The one and half minute video includes footage from the front and back of house and is held together by an interview with Executive Chef Nobi Hussein.

This is a fairly new service but it is something I really enjoy. I hope my enjoyment comes through in the video on youtube which was easily embedded in Imli's website.

Ivy Press Product Photography for Frankfurt Book Fair

We were commissioned by Ivy Press Limited to make a number of product images for the Frankfurt Book Fair. The items we photographed were highly considered children's DIY craft pieces such as the personalised flip flops shown here.

We have just completed another shoot on the same theme for Ivy Press but I can't disclose any information yet. You will have to watch this space!

PR Photography at Worthing Birdman 2012

Photopro was commissioned by Pegasus PR to produce event images of the Worthing Birdman Competition. We were there on Sunday photographing a mixture of professional and charity fundraising flyers.

Pegasus PR employees Kieran Watkins and David Greenwood, managed to raise over £800 for St Barnabas Hospice. The pair captured the fun of the day in some vibrant images.

Photographic Printing for the Tom Stoddart Exhibition

Tom Stoddart has an outdoor exhibition on the South Bank currently titled 78 Perspectives. Photopro was proud to create photographic prints for the exhibition which will be on show until the 11th of September.

The show is situated at the More London site and has been seen by almost 4000 people a day with a little help from the Olympics. It has been made possible by the participation of The International Committee of The Red Cross (ICRC).  

Magnum Sport Icons Exhibition in Birmingham

We have just finished printing imagery with Standard 8 for the Magnum Sport Icons Exhibition which will be on show in Birmingham from the 16th July to the 9th of September.

The exhibition includes some iconic imagery by legendary Magnum photographers such as Chris Steele Perkins, Martine Frank and Eve Arnold. Read more about the exhibition here.

PR Photography for Golfing Academy

First Degree Golfing Academy have released there long awaited website with PR photography by Photopro.co. Weedoo Media have done a fantastic job in creating the website. To call it slick would be an understatement.

The site contains all the information you will need to book lessons with the professional coaches and business partners Rob and Rob. It also contains some fantastic easy to follow free video lessons for all you budding golfers. Take a look.

Sea Containers House

On top of London yet again! This time we were at Sea Containers House  on the South Bank installing a marketing suite.

The building is undergoing major renovations and we were honoured to be asked by Standard 8 to assist in the creation of a client area on the top floor.

Well it rained all day but the sun finally came out at the last minute to give this fantastic view over the Thames. The installation design by DN & co looked beautiful in the low light.

Large Format Prints for Topping Out Ceremony

We were involved in creating and installing a temporary exhibition space for the topping out ceremony at 62 Buckingham Gate in London. This was another collaboration with Standard 8.

The exhibition space included large format vinyl prints on MDF and cut out vinyl lettering designed by DN & co. The installation happened on the 11th floor at 62 Buckingham Gate which looked out onto this fantastic post box view of Big Ben.

Large format printing is something we are very good at. We can create banners, adhesive vinyl prints and cut vinyl decals. Get in touch to find out more.

20 metre mesh banner in Piccadilly

Today we were installing a 20 by 1.5 metre mesh banner with Standard 8. The job for DN & co was situated in Piccadilly, London.

Printed Banner's are a fantastic, economical way of getting your message across in a public area. Size really is no restriction with this method of advertisement as you can see.

Commercial Print for an Interactive Bus Stop

This is an interactive bus stop being loaded up to take to London. The commission by Brent Council was given to  Standard 8 and Photopro has helped out with the printwork.

The bus stop is a structure clad in light boxes and touch screens all put together to collect a pedestrian's opinion on transport in London. I look forward to reading the outcome!

The bus stop will be on show in several locations around central London.

Strutt and Parker Real Estate Photography

I am delighted to announce that we shall be providing Strutt and Parker with interior and exterior photography throughout Sussex.

The Estate Agents have requested imagery for high end house sales on a regular basis. We certainly got lucky with the weather for this shoot in Newick.

Rachaels Kitchen Easter Cakes

Rachael Kitchen has released a stunning selection of cupcakes to celebrate Easter. We get to eat them when the shoot is over.  I like the Daisy's.

Interior Photography at Colemans Hatch Church

The Colemans Hatch Church in East Sussex will be celebrating its centenary this year. Photopro have been commissioned to make some enigmatic interior photographs to use with the brochure due for release later this year.

Like most gothic style churches the interior was awash with light and shadow and required some HDR imagery magic to create a balanced scene.   

First Degree Golfing Academy PR Photography

More PR photography for First Degree Golfing Academy. This time we got sunshine but a very fresh 3 degrees C made stripping off to a red shirt painful. 

The boys wanted two sets of images: tutorial procedures and lifestyle sets. We took advantage of the fine weather and spent a full day at Moor Park Golf Course in Hertfordshire.

The Dorchester Collection Food Photos

Photopro had the honour of creating highly stylised food photography for The Dorchester Collection. The Macaroons were made to represent the nine international hotels they have in  England, America, France, Italy and Switzerland. 

The multiplatform website and video was created by Weedoo Media who also provided this screen grab. Have a look at more images here. 

Edinburgh Tram Time

Whilst in Edinburgh for a meeting regarding time-lapse video's (fingers crossed) I was blown away by the state of Princes Street.

The whole street has been dug out to re lay tram lines. More info here.
