Catherine Yass at The De La Warre

I would recommend going to see Catherine Yass at the De La Warre pavilion in Bexhill before the exhibition closes in September. I was initially put off by an article on the show but it's definitely one you have to see to enjoy.

My preference is with her light box pieces (pictured). The images are made out of a mixture of positive and negative exposures resulting in a vivid aesthetic. Yass's approach creates a stark contrast in comparison to her banal subjects.
